Earth Observation Scientist

Role Description

Earth observation scientists use data gathered by satellites to measure and observe changes around the globe, such as water levels or ice extent. They use this data to monitor and model these changes, as well as to build climate change models that help us understand the human impact on climate and environment and find ways to predict and prevent natural disasters.

 

This job requires some knowledge of computer programming needed for modelling and processing large quantities of data.
